This article discusses the evolution of microelectronic devices in technology. Topics include applying a gallium arsenide (GaAs) metal-semiconductor field-effect-transistor (MESFET) device for use in microwaves, radar, satellite communications, and optoelectronics. Simulations of the device are also available in various conditions of channel doping.
